spices so yummy,
feel nice in your tummy,
but sometimes make your eyes water.

ginger in your mouth,
grows in the south,
all chaat masala does is flatter.

kokam and tamarind,
make your teeth grind,
and haldi makes your food look yellow.

chilli and pepper so hot,
star anise i've never bought,
oh! laung oh! laung you dirty fellow.

nutmeg and cinnamon,
all like it daughter and son,
they give your food a taste very sweet.

cakes and pastries,
restaurants and bakeries,
spices are added as a super awesome treat.
